The EveryLife Foundation Launches Community Scholarships

After six successful years of the #RAREis Scholarship Fund, the EveryLife Foundation is proud to launch a new initiative: Community Scholarships, supporting students in the rare disease community facing financial barriers to education. We’re honored to begin with the Paula Kovarick Segalman Family Scholarship for ALS, created by the Segalman family in memory of Paula. The Segalman family shared, “We chose to house our scholarship at the EveryLife Foundation because their team took the time to listen, understand, and ensure that our scholarship would truly reflect the spirit of our mother and wife.”

This renewable scholarship offers up to $5,000 for students impacted by ALS, personally or through a family member. Applicants must enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, or vocational school and maintain a 2.5+ GPA. Apply between May 12 and June 16, 2025, at 2 PM ET at everylifefoundation.org/segalman. A flyer and marketing toolkit are available here.
