Stephanie Riordan

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Stephanie Riordan was diagnosed with a rare disease in 2015, an experience that shaped her passion for supporting families navigating complex medical journeys. She previously worked at Make-A-Wish and The Children’s Inn at NIH. Now living in Maryland, Stephanie joined the RARE Foundation in 2021, where she has led patient-centered programs including RARE Artist and RARE Community Scholarships. She is passionate about making sure every voice is heard and believes art can be a powerful form of communication. She has been recognized by Arcadia University’s 40 Under 40 Alumni Award and the NOAH Arts Building Resilience Award.
