A rare disease patient himself, Michael Pearlmutter has served as the CEO of the RARE Foundation since 2024, leading the organization through a period of significant growth as the organization expands how it meets the needs of the rare disease community.
Prior to the RARE Foundation, he served as the Executive Director of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation (CPARF), where he was instrumental in expanding research initiatives and initiating the Remarkable US disability technology accelerator program.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in quantitative economics from the US Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
