Kathryn Poe serves as State Policy Manager at the RARE Foundation, where she works to advance policy solutions for the rare disease community in all 50 states. Kathryn brings a background in health and budget policy, having previously served as Budget & Health Policy Researcher at Policy Matters Ohio and Policy Communications Manager at Equality Ohio. They hold a master’s degree in Bioethics from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Capital University. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Kathryn is also a rare disease patient and bone marrow transplant survivor.
