Dorothea Lantz is the Director of Community Engagement for PWSA | USA, a licensed real estate broker with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, and a lifelong resident of South Miami, Florida. Her most cherished role though is being the mother to her seven-year-old son, Hunter, who lives with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Inspired by Hunter’s journey, Dorothea began volunteering for PWSA | USA, joining as Director in 2021. Over the past three years, she has increased PWSA’s Advocacy Committee membership by over 5,000% and developed a grassroots program to empower the PWS community nationwide. Dorothea has also expanded relationships with biotech in the rare disease space, further strengthening the organization’s reach. An inspiring speaker, she continues to champion collaboration and hope through the rare disease community by addressing national audiences, fostering awareness, and advocating for all those affected by rare conditions.
