Andrew Hebert is a Director on Takeda Pharmaceutical’s Therapeutic Area Policy and Advocacy team. In his role he works across multiple rare disease therapeutic areas, including Lysosomal Storage Diseases (MPS II and Gaucher), Bleeding Disorders, Rare Liver Disease, and transplant, to engage patients and caregivers and advance policy efforts to ensure equity in diagnosis and access to care for all rare disease patients. Prior to his current role at Takeda, Andrew worked in Health Policy at Gilead Sciences, and as a public health consultant supporting CDC projects in the U.S. and abroad in Infectious Disease and Adolescent Health. Andrew lives in Chicago with his wife, Merah, and son, Andrés.
